Q. What is your minimum quantity to run?
A. 1,000 labels for spot color, and 2,000 labels for four color process work.
Q. What does $1.00/M mean?
A. M is a term meaning per thousand. So your price would be $1.00/1,000 labels.
Q. What is a Plate Charge?
A. Your plate charge is determined by the size of your label, how many colors, and how
much artwork is involved. For every color you print there is a plate required, in order to
make a plate, your label will need to be color seperated, then a negative will be made
(similar to film from photographs), then a plate is made for each color to print your label
(a plate is a photopolymer material that has a series of dots on it that pick up ink and transfers it
to the paper).
Q. What is a Preparation Charge?
A. A preparation charge is for the time it takes to set up the press, to match colors and
samples, each preparation charge varies on how many colors you are printing. This is charged on repeat orders
only.
Q. What is a Die?
A. A laser engraved rotary tool that cuts out the desired shape of the label.
Q. Can I pay by credit card?
A. Yes, we accept Visa®.
Q. How do I obtain a U.P.C. (Universal Product Code) for my product?
A. You have to register with the ECCC (Electronic Commerce Council of Canada) to
obtain a U.P.C.. You can register online at www.eccc.org. You are also able to find out information
about how large your U.P.C. code has to be on your label.
Q. Do you have a label catalog which you can send me?
A. Precision Label is a manufacturer of custom flexographic labels, we do not have a
catalog with prices and label types. We do however, have a sample package that we can send you.
The package contains samples of custom labels that we have produced for our clients.
Q. Can you send me a price list?
A. We do not have a price list, because we are a custom label manufacturer. If you would

Q. How long will it take to print my labels?
A. Lead times are highly dependent upon orders in our plant. New orders are generally
shipped within 10 business days of the final artwork approval. Reorders are generally shipped within 10
business days of placement of order.
